Weight Sensor for 10kg with +/- 1g

Hi,

Does anyone know if its possible to use 4pcs 50kg load cell to provide 10kg with +/- 1g accuracy? Can I use the 4x 50kg load cell if I want to use it for max 10kg? What will be the best accuracy possible? I want the micro load cell for the smaller form factor.

Example part below:

It is ... but not with these toys.

Using a 200 kg scale for a maximum weight of 10 kg puts you an order of magnitude behind, right off the bat.

And this article describes some of the other challenges: https://www.analog.com/en/analog-dialogue/articles/a-reference-design-for-weigh-scales.html

You can certainly buy such scales, but it is quite difficult for an amateur to build any instrument that is accurate to 1 part in 10,000.

Would something like this work with HX711? When it says 3kg it means per load cell right?

So this would be 3kg x 4 = 12kg? What if I were to use 3kg x 2 = 6kg?
