Weird characters while booting

My YUN is acting really strange today after loading the openwrt-ar71xx-generic-yun-squashfs-sysupgrade.bin via the web admin.

This is the output I am getting via serial console.

U-Boot 1.1.4-linino-gca1b422d-dirty (Sep 15 2014 - 04:07:17)
.

Starting kernel ...

[    0.160000] jffs2: version 2.2 (NAND) (SUMMARY) (LZMA) (RTIME) (CMODE_PRIORITY) (c) 2001-2006 Red Hat, Inc.
[    0.170000] msgmni has been set to 118
[    0.170000] io scheduler noop registered

[    0.180000] ar933x-uart: ttyATH0 at MMIO 0x18020000 (irq = 11, base_baud = 1562500)  iû˜€˜

I cannot copy paste the rest of the characters at the end so I took a screenshot.

@gkhn,
it appears to be either improper setting on the serial port of just plain garbage.
Is it causing any issues of concern?'

FWIW, your baud rate is set at 1562500, which is likely incorrect. You can see that in the last line of your quote section.

Somehow after reflashing it, the problem is fixed.

@gkhn,
Okay. Good to know for those that may read this in the future.
Thanks
Jesse

Need ethernet cable and a GOOD USB CABLE!
Noticed the USB cable I was previously using was also damaged which may have contributed to the original weird character problem.

Bought a good USB Belkin cable
Tested the YUN using the new cable. Still the same issue.
Reflashed the whole thing using new cable.
Then press the yun reset button for 1 second to restart
All good.
