Hello!
I am trying to power the Wemos D1 Mini via the 5 volt vin pin. We are using a Step down 12 v to 5v.
When i power the Wemos via the Micro usb everything works normally but when i power the Wemos via the 5V vin pin the Wemos keeps turning on and off. It will go on for a few seconds, make its connection, but then it will power off and it keeps doing this.
Does anybody know what the problem can be?
What’s the rating of your converter?
Most likely a power supply issue.

I am not sure what the rating is.
The weird thing is that it is a USB step down converter. When i connect the usb cable to the converter and the Wemos it works fine.
I solderd 2 wires ( 5V and Ground) which are going to the Wemos. I am doing this because the Wemos will be placed in a small housing and a usb cable will be to stiff.
List all the components in your project, and the current rating of your supply. (that’s important)
Depending on what and how they’re put together, we might need to SEE how they’re all connected up as well.
Problem has been fixed. The Wemos kept resetting.
The problem now is when i have my 3 temp sensors hooked up on the 5V the Wemos wont boot/load a sketch. When i desconnect the 5V wires it will. I have placed 3 sensors on pins 15, 13,12.

I am using a DC 12V to 5V 3A Buck converter.
In total 6 DC 12V PC fans (have a separate power supply)
3 DHT 22 sensors

How are the relays connected to the processor?
About now, we need to see your schematic shoeing everything.
