Wemos D1 mini (with embedded ESP8266 module) can not connect to Firebase

Hi, good work,

I have one Wemos D1 Mini Arduino device (with embedded ESP8266 module).

I want to write to the dataset Firebase that I have taken from the humidity meter.

I did everything that was said, but there is no change in Firebase.

I can not read or write data.

Firebase.set Firebase.get functions not working

Can you help me ?

My Database Information

My Code:

#include <ESP8266WiFi.h>
#include <FirebaseArduino.h>

#define FIREBASE_HOST “arduino-b3aea.firebaseio.com
#define FIREBASE_AUTH “aWSaeZuP3E68gd1y1m9T8U5cyX84QGPPFG5E6N71”
#define WIFI_SSID “yusuf”
#define WIFI_PASSWORD “yusufak124261”

const int prob= A0;

int measurement_Total;

void setup() {

Serial.begin(115200);
WiFi.begin(WIFI_SSID, WIFI_PASSWORD);

Serial.print(“connecting”);

while (WiFi.status() != WL_CONNECTED) {

Serial.print(".");

delay(500);
}
Serial.println();

Serial.print("connected: ");

Serial.println(WiFi.localIP());

Firebase.begin(FIREBASE_HOST,FIREBASE_AUTH);

}
void loop() {

measurement_Total = analogRead(prob);
Serial.print("Soil wetness: ");
Serial.println(measurement_Total);
Firebase.push(“Value”,measurement_Total);

if (Firebase.failed()) {
Serial.print(" pushing /temperature failed:");
Serial.println(Firebase.error());
return;
}
delay(500);
}

And result :

In the pictures above you show an access URL for the database with protocol HTTPS but the library you're using just supports HTTP (no SSL support). Have you checked that you can access your Firebase account using HTTP only?

How can I change my Firebase account using HTTP only?

I can't find.

Can u help me ?

No, but ask the supplier (I think it's Google). I guess they have a forum to ask such questions. I thought to remember that Google announced that it will offer it's services in the future only by HTTPS but I'm not sure about that.

Thank you pylon.

I will write google forum.

@pylon, I've been searching, but I have not found anything like that. What do you recommend to me?

Other cloud platform ??

Hi pylon,

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rt_Wy34KTtY

The person in this video has succeeded using the https protocol, what is the reason for this?

I cannot see that he's using HTTPS, as far as I can tell from the video it work(ed) with HTTP, at least for him.

Have you checked that your ESP has connection to the internet? Das a simple HTTP client work?

I want to say that it's https in the database link of the person in the video.

connecting .. connected 192.160.1.5

giving me an local IP.

The ESP module is working.

I repeat:

If you have a local IP address does not necessarily mean you have internet access. Use a simple HTTP client to access www.google.com.
