So? Everyone was at some point. If you want to learn to use client/server communications, and have the Arduino be able to turn on an LED when ever a client connects, that is sufficient motivation to learn.
Of course, you won't be able to write code based on that wish. You need to have solid requirements. Why would you want to turn an LED on when ANY client connects, and makes ANY GET request?
