What app to use with the wifi shield

This is probably not the first time that it is asked, but I couldnot find an answer.

I connected the wifishield to the Arduino and installed the example scetch. It says in the monitor that is is connected to my wifi network but then what??
What App do I need on my phone and evt. scetch on the Arduino to get some 'action'?

All you would need would be a web browser. But you won't see anything, because you have done anything to give you "action".

Thanks for your reply, but I forgot to mention that I am an internet and wifi 'dummy'. :frowning:
What I want is pictograms of the Arduino ports on my phone which I can switch on and off. And I really don't see how a web browser (I'm thinking of Google Chrome etc.) can do that.
