What are my platform options for getting my Arduino data into a MEAN Stack?

Hi all,

To show you the current state of my project, here is a picture of my hardware/software setup currently: http://i.cubeupload.com/JHrqvq.jpg

I have 8 slave Arduino’s sending live sensor data to a master Arduino via the I2C serial protocol. I am using this Sparkfun FTDI as an hardware interface to a C# application on my PC. https://www.sparkfun.com/products/9716?_ga=1.90785498.1149002230.1482269035

Would you be so kind as to explain the options I have for IoT plaforms? My goal is to get the microcontroller data into a MEAN stack or Meteor. I haven’t taken stock of the various platforms out there.

What’s something I could use to jumpstart this project, and get out of C# and accomplish the same thing with live data in JavaScript? I’ve heard of a startup called Losant, and there are many other when you Google “IoT platform”: https://www.losant.com (As a side note, I have heard the best premium library for charts is HighCharts, which I think would be great: http://www.highcharts.com. For my C# charts, I used something similar called DevExpress: https://www.devexpress.com/)

As I see it, the current challenge can be summed as this: the hardest feat will be interfacing with the serial hardware controller as I’m not even aware (yet, that’s where I hope you can help…) of a browser API that will let you do that. C# will have no problem talking to hardware and touching memory and hard disks, but a JavaScript app on the browser will have much more restrictions on what it can read from…
