What chip should be used for 2-phase bipolar stepper motor?

Without seeing the link to the datasheet for your stepper motor how can we say?

Need to know the current and resistance rating. Better still tell us everything, the motor datasheet and what
you are trying to do with it...

The following is the parameter list of this motor,I just want to get the motor running.

Phase 2
Step Angle 1.8°
Shaft Single
Frame Size NEMA17(42mm)
Length mm 39.8
Rated Current A 1
Holding Torque Nm 0.48
Holding Torque oz-in 67.98
Resistance Ohms ±10%@20℃ 3.9
Inductance mH Typ. 8.9
Coil Type Bi-Polar
Detent Torque mNm 15
Rotor Inertia gcm² 57
Front Shaft Length mm 24
Front Shaft Diameter mm 5
Terminal Number 4
Connect Plug
Insulation Class B(130°C)
Approvals UL,RoHS
IP Rating IP40
Weight kg 0.28

As your motor has a 1 amp coil current you could use either a Pololu A4988 or DRV8825 or a Sparkfun BigEasydriver (which also uses the A4988 chip).

Make sure to adjust the current limit to 1 amp to protect your motor.

Yup, 1A is within the range of most chopper driver chips for steppers. Since you haven't said
what you want to do, can't advise what supply voltage to go for.
