What do board do i need in my project

Hi. Im here to ask you guys a few questions. I need to finish my final year project. So i need your help.

What im trying to do is smart alcohol detection system. I want to identify the board tht i can connect to the iot cloud. Let me straight to the point.

Input

  1. Alcohol detector
  2. Keyboard (insert id)

Output

  1. The display
  2. Save on cloud(wifi connection)
  3. Buzzer

I need to know. Do i need mkr wifi and the arduino uno r3 for the microcontroller? Or i just need the mkr wifi only? Or there is another board tht i can use?

You might also consider the NodeMCU.

If you want to use the IOT then you need this
Arduino Nano 33 IoT | Arduino Official Store not Wi-Fi.

If you want internet access then use the MKR- Wi-Fi.

What exam are You up to? Strange that Your education looks like being of no help.
I did my final year project like that, 1979 and the only way to solve it was reading, reading and reading specs, manuals etc. No internet.

It should be easier using the internet to do research. Asking for someone to give you the answer isn’t going to help you learn. Try doing some research.

You might want to expand on the "iot cloud" as it pertains to what you want to do. I would suggest you look into the various development boards that are based on the ESP8266 or ESP32 wifi chips (with micro USB) as they usually don't require a lot of hardware setup.
