What does EN mean in the voltage regulator?

Hey,
I was planning on using a voltage regulator for my project. Can anyone tell me what the EN means in the picture attached with this post for reference?

Thank you!

My guesswould be ENable, but that is just a guess. We would need to see a data sheet for the device to give any more than a guess.

Do not cross post.

Which regulator is it?

generic buck boost. Since it supports shutdown. It is most likely a pin that turns it on or off. It looks like to turns the transistor on or off... not sure what signal it needs.

EN = enable
So logic high to enable, logic zero for disable.
