What does "Prototype Limited Edition" mean?

Hey all,

a while back I bought a Arduino from Adafruit Industries. I recently noticed it had a little piece of writing on the PCB that said "Prototype limited edition". Any one know what this means? Are there any issues associated with a board with this written on it? Does it hold value as a collector's item?

I think that was a mistake. It's included on the actual prototypes and once it didn't get removed for a proper production run. The prototype are (mostly) red though, so that should be a fully tested production board.
