I tried ringing the bell with a servo that I had lying around but it is way too slow and since this is a musical application I need the thing to respond really fast.
It doesn't need to have a lot of torque since the arm that's ringing the bell is very lightweight (made out of Instamorph actually).
By the way, I will need at least a dozen of these so if your suggestions are on the cheap side great
