Hello guys, I have a very stupid question. Let's said I have a stepper motor, my motor is just vibrating but not rotating, actually what is happening inside the motor when this situation is happening?
It probably means it is getting current pulses that are not powerful enough to overcome the load on the motor. That may be because the current setting on the stepper driver is set too low or because the pulses are being sent too fast for the motor to be able to respond.
Always start testing a stepper motor with a very slow step rate - say 4 per second.
