What is max voltage and ampere on wemos d1 R1/ R2

Hi Guys,

I have a power supply 5v 5A.
I Will to direct connect to VIN on wemos d1 / R2, it's safe for wemos?
If no safe, what is the max voltage and Ampere if i Wanto direct connect to VIN PIN.

I'm appreciate who is suggestion.

Yes - it is safe.

Vin is for voltages higher than 5V (e.g. 7V); it goes through a 5V regulator. You need to connect the 5V output of the power supply to the 5V pin. In which case I would not connect USB at the same time.

What seems to be worse is that one does not seem to be able to find schematics of non-current versions of boards on the official Wemos site.
