What is number 5 in Serial.print (_____, 5)?

Hello,
I’m following this library (Google Code Archive - Long-term storage for Google Code Project Hosting.) to get temperature and relative humidity readings. What is number 5 here?

Serial.print(hih.humidity(), 5);

If I need to store hih.humidity(),5 somewhere, is that an Int.?

Thanks,
B.

You can store the value returned by hih.humidity() (without the ,5) if you want. It appears that it would most likely be a float.

Thank you for replies. I had to store hih.humidity() in a float and then perform conversion separately to make it work, as you suggested Delta_G.

float Temper = (hih.temperature());
Serial.println(Temper*1.8+32);

  float Temper = hih.temperature();
