What is the advantage of using op-amp with fsr voltage divider circuit instead of just voltage divider circuit?

Hey guys,

What is the reason and advantage of using an op-amp with fsr voltage divider circuit? In the fsr datasheet they use an op-amp but in this link (FSR Sensor tutorial ) they dont use it. So what is the reason for using it?

It would have been good to post an example where it is use so it would be clear what you meant.
However, often an op amp follows a voltage divider to lower the impedance of the resulting voltage.
