I want to ask which HMI software is the best and most easy one to be used with Arduino? Also please tell me about the requirements and feasibility of that software. I just have to give a Digital Input; a button from HMI (on PC) to Arduino in order to energize an output on the controller. Moreover I also have to give analog values to Arduino from HMI...... Kindly please guide me. thanks
What does HMI mean?
It's the politically correct version of MMI.
HMI = Human Machine Interface. MMI = Man Machine Interface. The term is used in the industrial sector to describe software used to display process and control information. Typically, the software supports graphical display (e.g. animated tanks filling with goo).
Ok. Thanks. In that case, and assuming a Windows based PC, I'd use Visual C#.
I tried using WinLog Lite but in vain.... I couldn't target desired gates of software with pins of controller.....
