OK I got a ESP8266 built into an electronic far away from my PC that has an already running Firmware that I upload over the air using the ArduinoOTA lib.
I once did set it up as IOT device already and still got the credentials as PDF saved on my PC.
Now I want to integrate the IOT cloud. Whats the best way to do it without getting it out of the electronics that it's built into?
You need to add the device in the cloud. I am fairly sure you need to connect it via USB to your PC, but give it a try and see if it shjows up. The add screen looks like the following. After clickibg Add Device on the devicde page.
That was already done as it was out there and I still have the password and so on as I said.
Just tested with my testing device that could update OTA and connect to the cloud afterwards. So I guess thats the way to go.
