What is the meaning of the glasses?

At some posts in a forum list there is a very small glasses at the left of the authors name.
What is the meaning?

The glasses icon means that you're watching the topic. This could be because you have set the topic to be watched via the "Receive Emails" button, or that you replied to the topic and have your forum preferences set to watch topics you have replied to.

Whenever I see them I know I have made a spectacle of myself again :slight_smile:

What I don't understand is why there is an image of a little person on the left and spectacles on the right - wouldn't one tell-tale be enough?

The "leprechaun" icon means you have replied to the thread. So if you watched the thread but didn't reply it will show the glasses but no leprechaun.
