What is the meaning of this message

I coulnot understand this message. And how I can recover this message pls help

A char variable can hold a single byte. The string "12" has 3 bytes 49, 50 and 0 (in decimal values).

I just want to store home number for constant. Than i will using that number for later my friend.

const char *DaireNo ="12"; // Daire numarası

That may keep the compiler happy - but does it actually do what think it does?

Maybe all you need is

char DaireNo = 12;
