Hi, i am trying to do some reverse engineering on a button from my car. But there is this PCB inside the button with a component i don't know what does.
See the photo. It is the white one in the middle
So if anyone can give a hint on what it is i would be happy.
or if anyone knows a way to find a datasheet/diagram for this PCB:)

hi, the button it is from is used for the kaleche on my Ford Focus CC.
it is getting power on the pin in the bottom when there is ignition on the car, while the two middle pins goes to the kaleche control unit. on for when i push the button at the right side(roof goes up), and one for the left side (roof goes down). Anyone recognizing the white component?
It might be a LED but you have not said if it emits a light (or maybe it is burnt out).

It appears there is a 1.8k resistor in series with this component.
The top of this component goes to the top pin.
The bottom of the 1.8k resistor goes to the bottom pin.
It does appear this component is a LED.
Yes, it is the LED that illuminates the button (usually, green or trendy blue) when the instrument lights are on.
