Hey Guys!
This is a part of the foot-switch of a sewing machine.
Suddenly the machine started sewing on its own and stunk.
So I opened the foot switch and saw this broken component.

0.1uF X2 capacitor. You can probably remove it from the foot pedal and it will work fine. I believe it is for noise suppression. Google "0.1uF X2 capacitor" and order a replacement from some place.
