What kind of NPN transistor for 2 wire setepper bo

Hello:

This is my first time in Arduino programing and i'm trying to mount a board with two steppers. The board uses a l293D IC and the control pin from arduino to is conected to pin2 of 293 and base of NPN transistor. I've mounted a c547c transistor but when I plug, the motor steps 2 forward and 2 bakward (like a vibration) using the sample code in the library of stepper motors.

Somebody have any suggestion about this problem or changing the transistor?

pleae check the wiring of the stepper motor, seemd that a coil of the stepper is wired in the wrong direction.

So you still have the coils wired up in the wrong order. You can change the wiring or change the sequence in software. But that is what you see when the coils are energised in the wrong order.
