What mcu is best for programming drone

I want to get deeper into drone programming however haven't found enough information. Is there a specific mcu board for full drone system? Is it small fpga or plain mcu? Looking for materials, examples, designs.. Maybe someone could help. Thanks ;)

I would check out the Teensy3.5 as it has HW support for 32bit floating point and 100++ MHz so fast enough to do all the math needed.

I must say Teensy is Arm Cortex M4 which is same as STM32 F103 and is more pricey. Currently I am looking at ESP32 low power models like FireBeetle and Geekworm. I plan to control drones as a hive using flock algorithms and client-server design. They need to do precise maneuvers and return to host after a command. Don't know what exactly I need but fast MCU is a must
