hi everybody
I'm french so excuse me for my english.
So, i'm building an arduino nano v3 board but i have a problem, what are those ship surrounded in red on the picture ? their references ?
thanks a lot for your help.

It's the SS Saucy Mrs Trusspot.
Those are resistor arrays. Four resistors in each package.
The one on the left is 4 x 680Ω resistors. The one on the right is 4 x 1K resistors.
It's the SS Saucy Mrs Trusspot.
polohpi in case you are puzzled.
He was making fun of the fact you put ship meaning large boat for sailing on the water, rather than chip, electronic device.

Yes, just my poor attempt at humour.
... I'll get my coat ...
excuse me i'm in upper sixth.
and i have an english exam in one week..... omg.....
thanks dude. i was thinking that i'll never finish those boards ^^ do you know where i can get the references ?
do you know where i can get the references ?
You mean find out what the numbers mean?
You calculate it. It's just like normal resistors but with numbers instead of colours.
The first two numbers are real numbers. The third number is the number of 0's.
So 681 is a 6, then an 8, then 1 zero. - 680. The 102 is a 1, then a 0, then 2 zeros. - 1000.
That's the resistance in ohms.
Here's hoping polohpi doesn't need a chit if he misses the exam.
Rob
Now behave, he is not going to understand that either.
chit ?
yes i know but i'm french don't forget that....
a chit is like a receipt.
thanks for the english lessons --'
so do you have some references for those "chips" ? ^^
a chit is like a receipt.
Yes but if you transpose a S for a C like you did in the post title, it becomes a slang word for deification, we are in school boy humor mode today.
They are simple resistor arrays something like this.

thanks a lot for your help. i'll try to fine those.
thanks a lot for your help. Their is no way of contact between the resistors ? i mean it's like i glued 4 resistors ?
There will be a breakdown voltage for the insulation separating the resistors, but it will be incredibly high.
Under normal circumstances, they are like 4 completely separate resistors - yes, as if you have glued together 4 individual resistors.
The connections opposite each other form the two ends of each resistor.
thanks for the assist. like this forum.

I should hope you meant defecation.

Or deficisation in the states (that's an Americanisationalism btw
)

You'll have to excuse Mike, he has dailysex.
What an anagram
Wait up Majenko, I'll get my coat as well
