What type of connector is this?

Can somebody help me identify this connector (the green female one). It is connecting 12VDC power supply to the motor inside my H-D motorized blinds.

Is it some type of JST?
Where can I find them? Is it possible to build my own cable with this type?

Thanks very much!

[EDIT] Perhaps I should have posted it in "motors/mechanics/power" forum?

Browse the different families, see if you can determine what it is.
2mm pitch? 2.54mm (0.1")?

Perhaps I should rephrase my question. I am not expecting the perfect answer with a part number.
However, I would appreciate some general leads towards getting there.
I did spend a while on JST website and got lost trying to browse through the enormous catalog. I am not a hardware guy.
Here are my questions.

  1. Is it a subtype of JST or some other "family"?
  2. Is it called a "plug" or a "socket"?
  3. The pitch seems to be very close to 2mm. But filtering digikey purely on that dimension (range 1.8mm to 2.5mm) and nothing else, none of the results matched mine. So is it something not sold by digikey then?
    Thanks

Looks a bit like Molex MiniMi

  1. Don't know. Can't tell from the picture - could be generic ripoff of JST brand, could be something custom for "key" purposes to prevent installation errors.
  2. You need housing with female pins that can accept the male pins on the board. So I would lean towards female recaptacle or socket.
  3. Could be. Get a better measurement - 2mm, 2.5mm 2.54mm, will make a difference with alignment.
As for the shape, review what's available carefully.

For example, there are 5 pages of receptacles to mate with pins

and 2 pages of 2 pin housings

Maybe none of these JST brand are the right shape.
In which case, open up the search to allow other brands

Best of luck in your search. Bit of a needle in a haystack situation for you.

Thanks very much for the guidance.
I'll spend a few hours browsing this weekend!
