hi im dabbling in electronics for the first time and going to buy an arduino. Im trying to source the parts listed ont eh make starter kit but as im in japan things are a bit hard to read.
For resistors on the site im looking at it lits 1k resistors with various rates electrical powers. What should i be looking at getting as this is listed on the parts list on make.

Resistors normally quarter watt. Or tenth watt if you want a small wire ended one.

100, 220, 1k 10k are the most common resistor values I use
if you can get to Akahibara you should be able to find everything you need.
hi thanks for the replies. The resistors im looking on the website also have a power rating e.g. 1\4W or 1\2W 5W all for 1K resistor. What should i be going for?
