I have a sensor from a Sportcraft basketball hoop that triggers the scoreboard when you make a shot. I have no idea what the sensor is. Does anyone know? Below is a picture of the sensor. There are two wires going to each sensor. They look like infrared leds and receivers but I can't quite tell.
They look like ultra sonics to me. The ball must break the beam or reflect it.
