Whats kind of sensor should i use?

I need a infrared sensor that will be able to take infrared pictures of an infrared led. Then in processing graph that data like this...

on where any infrared led's are.
Thanks

Wii Remote?

Just about any CCD camera is sensitive to infrared. Various lenses/bezels can be used to filter out more visible or more infrared from hitting the sensor.

As TechIsCool mentioned, the WiiMote uses this to collect data from the "sensor bar" (which is no sensor). There's a calibration menu choice on the Wii that lets you watch this CCD's low-res signal live. The Wii can track the centroids of up to four IR dots, but all games so far use just the standard two. I don't know if the WiiMote or the Wii itself does the centroid calculations... it's something multi-touch pads have to do also (and I saw demos at PARC years ago), so it's a well-established capability in hardware.

Lets start simple. How to get the wii data (of like the accelerometers and pushbuttons) via bluetooth to the computer?

Ok link dump
