Which are the differences and which one is better!
R3 is the latest revision. Just plain Arduino Mega is most likely an R3, but it doesn't say for sure. If you buy it from somewhere reputable, it will be.
Biggest difference: presence of SDA/SCL pins to the left of d13/aref/gnd.
