I accidentally removed this component while trying to remove the header. What is it?

A 22uF capacitor; it helps stabilize the USB power.

If it had a polarity there would be a marking present. But it certainly seems the right size for a 22uF ceramic.

If its chocolate brown with metal end-caps its ceramic, that's the colour of barium titanate
style dielectrics used for high-value ceramic capacitors. For some reason surface mount
ceramic caps never have markings (unlike resistors which always have them!).
