What's up with the error in the code examples?

Looking at the examples with code windows, the message

"SORRY, There is an error at our code repository, please inform to web@arduino.cc"

has been there for awhile rather than the code.

One of the pages is located: https://www.arduino.cc/en/Tutorial/CardInfo
In the section "CODE"...

Or is it my connection?

Is this being looked at?

Thanks!
Bill

I have no idea why that might be, but the same code (afaik) is in the IDE at Examples > SD

Well neither of you posted enough information to even make a wild stab in the dark.

Error logs from whatever browser, OS, IDE, etc. etc. you are both using..

Regular or web IDE ?
Regular or WEB examples ?
browser type and version
blah blah blah.

Links please if its web related.

godivaPrima there are 6 examples in my SD examples folder and you should really know better by now what type of info to post.

MrBill57 Am going to point you HERE first.
Dont take it the wrong way. but details are always key in finding and fixing things.

I have no idea what you're on about BSB. OP can't link to the code from the arduino web site, he's not saying there's a problem with the code. He specifically asked about cardinfo, and I pointed him to examples>sd where cardinfo is one of the sketches. So now he has an alternative source for the code that the arduino site won't link to.

Proably there was an update on github a few days ago that hasnt populated correctly.

That should have been your first response rather than #2 which ranted at someone who asked a legitimate question in a proper way, and at someone who tried to help.

It wasnt a rant at all...It was a response to a very vauge question in the first place and similar for your post.

Trust me I do know the difference.

Well neither of you posted enough information to even make a wild stab in the dark.

I was able to easily determine from just the first two posts what is wrong and how to get past the problem.

It wasnt a rant at all...

blah blah blah.

Uh huh. Not a rant. Got it.

The next post will be from @MrBill57 (if he has anything to add).

OK - now I can't get quickly to the page. But the code listing link posted a message that there was an error and I was unable to D/L the code. Sorry - it may have been on the Adafruit site - can't find it now.

If it happens again I'll post the necessary info.

Should have posted a link.

Thanks!

Was @godivaPrima's post (#1) helpful? Were you able to find the example?

The issue was reported at Broken examples and tutorial links · Issue #5794 · arduino/Arduino · GitHub. Unfortunately the person who made the report didn't provide anywhere near enough information and then gave up instead of persevering so it was closed without resolving the issue. I have clarified the misunderstanding so hopefully the issue will be reopened and fixed soon.

Thanks for reporting this MrBill57!

It's currently a non-issue for me. I did find the same problem a little longer ago and reported it to the given address. When I checked a few days later, it was solved.

Maybe clearing the browser cache solves the issue.

Error message still appears for me after clearing the browser cache and using a different browser that I've never accessed that page from before.

Sorry, spoke a little too soon; that specific page indeed still has it (and I never noticed). All the referred example pages (datalogger, dumpfile and so on) were fixed a little while ago.
