When I use the same code how2electronics provides for the NPK sensor, the Max485/Modbus to TTL converter we're using returns only FFFFFF

Hello! I'm facing a problem. When I use the same code that how2electronics has provided for the NPK sensor, the Max485 to TTL converter / Modbus we're using simply returns FFFFFF, and thus just constantly outputs 255, 255, 255 for the values. Any idea on why this might be happening?

Your problem sounds similar to MAX485 TTL to RS-485 Modules for soil NPK sensor. There was a couple of recent posts in that discussion (see reply #16 & #19) that reported the same issue as well.
