When will a new version of linino be released?

in this thread sonnyyu claims the ttyacm0 stability problem is fixed in a newer release ttyACM0 unstable - Arduino Yún - Arduino Forum
However the download page http://arduino.cc/en/Main/Software#toc8 only contains 1.0. Even though it is called upgrade I assume it is the version used to ship the yun.
Before I venture in the latest and greatest I would like to know whether there will be a official release "soon".

I contacted the arduino core team and got the following answer

Hi Jantje, yes we are aware you all are waiting for an update and we are working that out. I can't give you a deadline though

Because I was not aware about that. Maybe I have send it to Linino and not Arduino :astonished:.
So to recap: I have send it to Federico Fissore who was very active on this forum.
