This is really annoying. In case of bus contention or transmission error, the TWI library will cause the entire microcontroller to hang. This has been known for at least four years, and there have even been community patches submitted but the problem is still there. Is there anybody awake at Arduino? Are you even trying to fix library bugs?
Personally not experienced this problem.
Can you provide example code/schema that shows this bug?
And possibly links to proposed solutions?
Then I can bring it under attention on the developers mailing list.
