When Yelling at The Sound Sensor the Speaker Plays?

Hi! It’s my first time trying to code and my second time messing with an Arduino. I’ve connected an SD card and a sound sensor, the Idea is when someone exceeds a threshold (yells) the speaker plays a sound file from the SD card.
They all work, I have played songs through the SD card, and I have connected the sound sensor that responds to the decibels. but I don’t know how to code it. I’ve tried to combine a code that lets you play .wave files from the SD card and another code that I’ve used before which moves a servo motor when you clap your hands near a sound sensor. As expected that didn’t work.
If you could help me with the code I’d be grateful.

5V- 5V
GND-GND
CS- PIN 4
SCK- PIN13
MOSI- PIN 11
MISCO- PIN12
I soldered and wired Speaker as shown too, all works and I can play sound files.

The sound sensor connected like so- GND-GND, + TO +, and A0 to PIN A2. And it responded well.

The easier you make it to read and copy the code the more likely it is that you will get help

Please follow the advice given in the link below when posting code

I note that your code is not complete, such as not having a loop() function in it

You need to monitor the sound sensor in the loop() function which continually
runs after setup() exits - your code seems to only do one test for sound at startup,
after that who knows what’s happening, you haven’t posted it all.

So you’ve edited now - this version still doesn’t respond?

I think you need to change the code to prevent the play() call being
called repeatedly - basically only call play() if nothing is currently playing.

Check out the StateChangeDetection example for how this is typically done,
but you may also need some debouncing logic if the sensor can produce multiple
pulses during activation.

I’ve done what you suggested and I think it knows when there is sound from the sensor and when there’s not, but when I up the sensitivity manually on the sound sensor too start picking up, there are pops from the speaker, like it will try and play the file repeatedly or something without stopping, I really don’t know what to do
