It is just that, IMO, Apple's environment places more restrictions on me than I can live with, so I choose not to use it.
While I believe (outside the hardware limited options to build your computer to your exact spec which we were not discussing above and I find they build something way superior and nicer than what I could myself) a lot of this is on the software side is just not limitations it's not knowing what's really available if you are willing to learn a few command lines. But full respect for your choice - yes it's important to find something one likes.
