Where do I CONNECT the VIN pin in a Sensor Sheild??

Hi,
I'm new, and I just bought a sensor shield for my Mega. I am making a project in which I need to use the VIN pin, but all the pins are marked as +5V no ?? . The sensor shield is like this one?

In your photo the PCB legend is partially obscured by the SD Card Connector pins, but it is at the right hand end of the connector that has the following pins: RST, 3V3, 5V, GND, GND, VIN.

Yeah, I know it's there, but I'm looking for position of the pin VIN in the shield, to conect the cable to.

Can you give a clearer description of exactly what you are trying to do? Does the cable you are trying to connect go to a sensor, a power supply, or something else?

If you are using a Mega and a sensor shield, you almost certainly do not want to use the"Vin" pin.

You need to power the board and other components from a regulated 5 V power supply. It is simple to connect that to the USB connector or if you are careful that it is the right polarity, the positive to the "5V" pin and negative to ground.
