I have a clean install ide 2.3.2, even cleaned out per the "CLEAN UP BEFORE INSTALLING ANOTHER COPY OF THE IDE OR ARDUINO CREATE" pdf. Used CCleaner on registry. Where should I point the sketch's to save them ?
Also I do not use one drive but the install program builds C:\Users\name\Onedrive\Documents\ Arduino, an empty folder during install. If it to be used for something how do I move it.

Take a look in IDE Edit/Preferences to see where your Sketchbook folder is located. This is the default folder where sketches will be saved unless you use a different path when saving them
You don't need to do that and it might even cause a problem.
If you are having some problem, please provide a detailed description and we'll help you out with that. If you aren't having a problem then ignore that PDF and get back to having fun with Arduino!
Why did the install program build C:\Users\name\Onedrive\Documents\ Arduino for the default save location?
Sitting in a subfolder of Onedrive, which I don't use. The updates Microsoft has used to push Onedrive has caused me multiple problems.
Just a guess but you probably still have references to onedrive as your "My Documents" directory.
