Where should i store my components?

I berely opened up Arduino, not too sure were to store the components, ( Jumper Wires, LED's, resistors...) I could leave them in the same bag, however for the "Electronic Components" box, there is too much in one bag, kinda wondering what type of bag or material i could safely put them in. Thanks!

Buy one of those boxes with lots of little compartments. 15-20 compartments is good. It should cost less than US$10 or the equivalent.

When you run out of space, buy another box.

Be sure to put some ESD foam under ESD sensitive components, you don't want them rattling around generating ESD and zapping themselves. ICs specifically. Resistors, caps, wires, pots (variable resistors) will not be damaged.

.

You could even buy a bunch of plastic storage boxes like this....but only after finding the one that has the number and size of compartments you want. Sometimes you can even use a dremel tool to cut out sections .... in order to make larger compartments.
