Where to buy 2.4GHz RFID Reader?

Hi, Kind Folks,

Can anyone give me some directions on where to buy a 2.4GHz RFID reader, with reading range of 1 to 2 meters off passive tags?

If there is no readily available product, any one knows how to design one?
