Trying to store some data but arduino only has 1KB EEPROM. I've looked at a couple libraries and the at24c1024 seems pretty straightforward. I couldn't find where to get DIP version of the chip though. Anyone a little help? Thanks.
BTW, jameco has it, but it's 3.3V and a bit expensive!
yea you got to watch jameco, near sparkfun prices and they whack you with 8-9 bucks UPS shipping
make sure you cant get it elsewhere before dealing with them
mouser has some for about the same price as digikey, digikey will slump them through regular mail for a couple bucks, mouser will send them first class for about 4 bucks (then send you the most awesome catalog ever! I bought some solder and a week later got a 5 inch thick phone book from them)
Thanks Osgeld. I made my first purchase at jameco over a year ago when I started playing with arduino. Yea, I had to buy like $100 worth of stuff to feel the shipping is not a total rip off. I've since not purchased a single thing from them. I'll try digi-key then.
