Where to find shield headers w/long pins?

I've seen some shield headers with long pins, for pass-through shields using a single header (although I just googled and couldn't find them again :expressionless: ). I've been unable to locate a source for these. Would anyone care to tell me where they found them, or what magic phrase to use in digikey's search box to make them appear? Are they wire-wrap headers?

The double-row for using separate male and female headers wastes a bit of board real estate, and the single sided prototypes I'm etching at home are well suited to the long-pin variety.

thanks,

Out of stock, but...

I heard Digi-Key part nmbrs: SAM1125-16-ND & SAM1126-16-ND are similar.
(I bought mine from LadyAda.)
If you search Digi-Key for "SAM1125" there are a few sizes.
Searching for "wire wrap SIP" on Digi-Key also brings up a lot of parts, but I didn't check them out.

thanks! seeing that these were "out of stock" (but not really? no idea what digikey means by that) lead me to go back and redo my search. Turns out I was excluding them by selecting the "in stock items only" filter.

These are supposingly custom items that digikey magically assembles for you when you order them. Similar items are digi-reels and cable with the ends pre-soldered.
Based on the tooling marks from the ones I get, the 'magic assembly' involves cutting them down from a larger strip. They're out of stock because they don't know if it'll take them 2 seconds or 45 minutes to get someone to do it and they don't want to lose their on time guarantee for a large order because they can't cut one header on time... so they're out of stock but not really.

they are pennies a connector at 4UCon.com , but you have to buy 1000 pieces:

  • 1X6 pin stacking header: 4UCon part number 18688

  • 1X8 pin stacking header: 4UCon part number 18689

  • 2X3 pin stacking header: 4UCon part number 18677

I have a bunch of them, but cannot ship until July 1st http://www.nkcelectronics.com/arduino-stackable-header-kit.html. If you order the protoshield kit, you can get them right away http://www.nkcelectronics.com/freeduino-arduino-protoshield-kit.html
