I am looking for a sketch that identifies the VID and PID to the MEGA 256 board. My intent is to update it so it can recognize the Chinese Board because it is throwing an "Unkown"
You're most likely not going to find a sketch for this. You need to provide more information. You've created 3 different related threads. This can end up wasting a lot of our time from duplicate effort. For example, I see in your other thread: http://forum.arduino.cc/index.php?topic=468102 you mention your Mega 2560 uses the CH340 USB-serial chip. This chip provides the VID/PID of the board. Official Arduino Megas and some clones use an ATmega16U2 instead of CH340, which would completely change the situation. I will be extremely surprised if you can find a way to upload a sketch or even any sort of firmware to the CH340.
Other possibly related thread: http://forum.arduino.cc/index.php?topic=466773
There is no way for the code running on the '2560 to know the VID/PID that the USB serial adapter (be it a ch340g based clone or 16u2 official board); that is only presented to the computer. The only way for the program on the mega to know it's own VID/PID would be if you had a program running on the computer that told it what it's vid and pid is.
