Hello everyone, I have been trying to make an arduino color organ based on msgeq7 ic for atleast 3 MONTHS! Unfortunately, the ic i bought from ebay was fake/didn't work. So ordered it again from ebay, but that time from a different seller. SAME THING HAPPENED AGAIN. I have no idea, where to get this ic.
Maybe you ideas??
P.s my friend ordered the ic from ebay as well and it was all fine for him. Btw I can't get the ic from local stores as it costs 10eur here in Lithuania

I just can't get scammed like that
I have no idea how much of a rip-off th €10 price is.
But I am very conscious how people have been happy (over decades) to choose cheaper options only in later years to complain that their local shop or local manufacturing business has closed down without ever acknowledging that their own behaviour was partly to blame.

Sparkfun has them for $5, and Mouser resells it. I don't know if either of them ships to Lithuania.
Are you sure you're using them right? Did you get them from the same eBay vendor that your friend did?
