I am desperately looking for the .config file that would allow to reproduce the creation of the binary image of Linino, that is shipped onto the Arduino Yun by default ?
I tried building Linino several times. First of all the config file provided by default is the one used for development purpose, not production, so there are far too many packages.
Also no matter what I tried the image was never build completely, managed to build the toolchain but there was alway a few packages that did not compile ok and thus prevented the final bin image to be built at the end of the process.
I followed these instructions:
From the official site and these cause the links above do not provide half of the informations needed to build something at all (i.e pre-requisite packages for instance):
Also note that :
git clone https://github.com/linino/dogstick.git
Cloning into ‘dogstick’…
Username for ‘https://github.com’: xxxxx
Password for ‘https://email@example.com’:
error: The requested URL returned error: 403 while accessing https://github.com/linino/dogstick.git/info/refs
fatal: HTTP request failed
Really quite pathetic to note that the official git repo isn’t working and it’s been the case for a while, I tried several times…
The only one that works is instead : https://github.com/arduino/linino.git
I mean for goodness sake Arduino dev team please do make a massive effort on your docs and accuracy of what you document, most of the yun documentation is scarce and incomplete, not only, when on top we’re lucky enough to have working links and repositories…
You just aren’t serious.
