Where to get "thermopile" IR temperature sensors

Hey all,

Wondering if anyone knows where to get thermopile sensors. These are the little guys that let you detect the temperature of a surface by reading the blackbody radiation of the surface. I have a hand held IR thermometer I got from Radio Shack, which is exactly what I'm looking for. But internally it only has the battery, one IC, the LCD and the sensor. So it's a little hard to hack. The IC and sensor are made by Raytek (Fluke), but when I contacted them, they blew me off. :-/

I haven't been able to find them at my known electronics suppliers.

Melexis is one manufacturer.
