Where to start with Arduino

Can anyone recommend a good beginners guide to Arduino coding. I've got the hardware and i've goggled a few sample codes for the screen and keypads shields i'm using, and I've even gone so far as altering a few lines of code to change whats displayed, and where it's displayed. But what i'm after is a basic list of instruction, what they do and how to write and use them. I used to do a lot of QBasic and C++ coding and there was a help file with a list of all the keywords and how to use them.

I would read through it and used them to teach myself how to implement them. Is there a similar list for Arduino? or can someone recommend a good beginners guide?

Have you studied the Resources / Reference link at the top of this page?

...R

Arduino uses standard C++, so if you know C++ you already know what you need.

I found this web site very helpful for learning C C tutorial

Enjoy

Is that not this?

The Arduino Main Site has a manual's worth of info. Start by following links and bookmarking pages, skim the material until you know what it's about and find it again through the bookmark. When you open the IDE, open a web browser and make a tab for every page you need to refer to for that project.

Look for links, don't be blind and helpless.
