Hey gang.. I am trying to throw a motor into my project.. when I directly wired things up.. using the motor, diode, transistor and resistor, IN-LINE.. (ie: no pcb)... things seemed to work fine for testing. I went ahead on the project.. worked on other aspects.. and I then home etched a little PC…

Wheres my voltage? (what am I doing wrong?)

The transistor may a diferent pinout check the data sheets.
