A lot of display libraries inherit from the core <Adafruit_GFX.h> library.
So you would expect the Library Manager to install the latest Release on GitHub
i.e. v1.1.5 (22 Feb 2016)
If the punter specifically wants something different, she could choose any of the 8 previous Releases or even Download the current contents of the Repository.
I am using v1.6.6 of the Arduino IDE. The Library Manager installs v1.0.2 of Adafruit_GFX and only has v1.0.0, 1.0.1 or 1.0.2 in the dropDown.
As far as I can see, v1.1.0 to v1.1.5 are perfectly legal Releases. Why are they not visible?
v1.x.x contain the Buttons and FreeFonts. The older versions only have the 7x5 System Font.
Please move this to a more appropriate Forum if necessary. However, I am expecting that someone might have a very simple explanation. e.g. wrong Library Format or wrong Library Manager
